WSU baseball has cancelled its four-game home series against California State University, Sacramento, formerly scheduled to be played Thursday through Sunday.

The cancellation is due to the expected rain and snow for the Pullman area later this week, according to a WSU news release.

The Cougars were preparing to host their first home game of the season at Bailey-Brayton Field after starting the season with an eight-game road trip.

WSU will now have to wait another week for its first pitch of the season in Pullman. They play Saint Mary’s College of California in a four-game series starting at 4 p.m. March 8 at Bailey-Brayton Field.
