WSU men’s basketball guard Carter Skaggs announced on Twitter today that he has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.

In the tweet, Skaggs said he plans on graduating from WSU and using his last year of eligibility to play at a different university.

“I will always cherish the moments and relationships I have made on and off the court the last two years in Pullman,” Skaggs said in part of the tweet.

The news comes a day after junior forward Jeff Pollard entered his name into the transfer portal. Pollard is expected to earn his bachelor’s degree in May and would be eligible to play right away as a graduate transfer, according to Cougfan.com.

Skaggs averaged 6.0 points and 1.7 rebounds per game this past season.
