Happy Family Weekend, and welcome to Pullman parents and families! We have such a late football game on Saturday, I am sure everyone is trying to fill their time with other activities.

Jeffrey Gibson: They Teach Love

  • What: Exhibition of work by internationally recognized artist Jeffrey Gibson

Here in a Homemade Forest: Common Reading Connections

  • What: Exhibition of work by Indigenous and non-Indigenous American artists inspired by the WSU common reading book “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Wall Kimmerer

Gatsby Party

  • What: Roaring ‘20s Gatsby Party with dinner and silent auction
  • When: 7–9 p.m. Friday
  • Where: Regency Pullman
  • Cost: $50 for individual tickets, $350 for table of 8

Golf Simulator Tournament

  • What: Family weekend golf simulator competition with prizes
  • When: 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Friday–Sunday
  • Where: Airway Hills Golf Center
  • Cost: Normal simulator pricing

Family Weekend Festivities

  • What: Activities including honey tasting, souvenir photos, shopping for Coug-made gear and more
  • When: 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Friday
  • Where: Brelsford WSU Visitor Center

Pumpkin Drop

  • What: 18th annual pumpkin drop, dropping decorated pumpkins, with stations for decorations, physics demos, scavenger hunts and concessions
  • When: 9 a.m.–12 p.m Saturday
  • Where: Webster Physical Science Building

Craft Fair

  • What: Fall- and holiday-themed craft fair with vintage treasures and craft fair vendors
  • When: 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturday
  • Where: Palouse Community Center in Palouse

Open Mic Night

  • What: Open Mic Night allowing instruments, songs, stories and more
  • When: 6–8 p.m. Nov. 9
  • Where: Compton Union Building Reunion
