Italia Bernal is a sophomore setter for WSU from Mexicali, Mexico.

In High School, she played club ball in Mexico and helped her team, Coast Volleyball, win the Triple Crown Tournament.

She played for Mexico’s national U19 team at the World Championships in Croatia, and was the starting setter.

Last year at WSU, Bernal put together a strong freshman campaign. She played in 107 sets, finishing with 39 kills, 806 assists, 31 aces, 27 blocks and 235 digs. She played solid defense and proved herself reliable as a server.

Levi is a sophomore studying Multimedia Journalism, Broadcast News, and Advertising at Washington State University. He serves as sports co-editor, and is the beat writer for the men’s basketball team and both men’s and women’s golf teams. He loves the Mariners, Seahawks, Kraken, and Cougars!

BRANDON WILLMAN, Multimedia editor
Brandon Willman is a WSU and Daily Evergreen alumnus (class of ’24) who served in roles including staff writer, staff photographer, copy editor, multimedia editor and editor-in-chief during his time with the Evergreen. He started working as a sportswriter for the Daily Evergreen in Fall 2022 and worked as copy editor in spring 2023. Brandon was elected to be the Editor-in-chief starting in summer 2023 and served in the position from May 2023 to February 2024 before transitioning to the role of multimedia editor.
