Lucie Blazkova is a sophomore middle blocker from Ceská Trebová, Czech Republic.
Blazkova was a two-time league champion in the Czech Cup while playing club ball in Europe, and represented her country at the 2023 European Golden Leagues.
In 2023, Blazkova took a redshirt year, so she began her playing career at WSU as a redshirt freshman in 2024.
Last year, she emerged as a consistent attacker for the Cougs. Blazkova appeared in 112 sets. She scored 313 points, including 200 kills and 25 service aces.
Defensively, she provided 63 digs and 42 blocks. She was a versatile player who was valuable both on offense and defense, and will likely see more playing time in 2025.
