Krista Dooley is a redshirt sophomore opposite from Plano, Texas, and a new member of the Cougar volleyball team.
She played high school volleyball at Plano East Senior High School and was also a member of the Dallas Skyline club team.
She initially committed to play for Rutgers University, where she redshirted in 2023 before making her debut in 2024. Last season, Dooley played in 30 sets, finishing the season with 20 kills, 10 blocks and nine digs.
The 6-foot-3 opposite was named to the ODU Invitational All-Tournament team.
Dooley’s favorite athlete is Serena Williams, according to her profile at scarletknights.com.
She says one quote that resonates with her is “The best things in life are placed on the other side of fear.”
