The city of Pullman is set to celebrate its 50th annual 4th of July celebration at Sunnyside Park tomorrow.
According to the Pullman Chamber of Commerce, the event will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature a variety of activities, including live music, food and fireworks.
Performers include Ian Skavdahl, DJ Goldfinger and the Community Band of the Palouse. Timber Bar and Grill is providing food, serving a variety of barbecue dishes.
The firework display will wrap up the event at 10 p.m.
According to Madeline Maxwell, the budget for the event was $20,000, coming from tourism funding. Maxwell is the Communications Coordinator for the Pullman Chamber of Commerce. She said last year the celebration saw 11,000 attendees, and this year’s festivities were planned with those numbers as an estimate.
