Welcome sign greets visitors in dozens of languages
The Daily Evergreen reported September 25, 2018, a new welcome sign was installed near the Pullman city limits. The sign said ‘welcome’ in 60 different languages. The sign cost $200,000 to build and was partially funded by donations.
Students link logo to ‘Live at Eight’ show
It was reported September 21, 1989, WSU students who worked on the ‘Live at Eight’ show, which aired on National College Television Network, grew concerned when a nearly identical logo was used for “Live!” an entertainment guide published by The Daily News/Idahonian, which is now called the Moscow-Pullman Daily News. Students were unsure whether to take action.
