WSU to remain on sidelines of social discussions

The Daily Evergreen reported October 3, 2024 WSU would stop commenting on social and political issues. WSU encouraged open debate among students but would stop officially taking stances on issues. WSU followed other universities in this policy. This policy is still active at WSU.

Holland Library Equipment Slow In Arriving

It was reported September 27, 1950 equipment delivery was delayed, slowing down the full opening of the library. The library was previously located in Bryan and Thompson halls. At the time, the library was hailed as one of the most advanced in the nation, using pneumatic tubes to retrieve books and a sleek, modern interior.
