As of Oct. 17, WSU’s “system-wide redesign” has begun – and, following it, a survey to monitor feedback from the community.
This plan, initiated by President Elizabeth Cantwell, is meant to integrate the needs of students into all of WSU’s campuses and extension offices.
The plan is supposed to have four stages. Various individuals will be consulted across the state throughout each phase of the process.
From October, November and December data will be collected and stakeholders will be contacted. In January, February and March, the information taken from the first phase will be analyzed and the design process will begin. For the third stage, comprising April and May, the design will be refined. Finally, the fourth stage – taking place from May, June and July – will be the finalization of the design plans.
The data will be collected via a survey. This survey will close Dec. 5.
The survey has been designed to analyze trends at WSU, and, as Cantwell says, “to co-design [the] future [of WSU].”
