Kase Wynott battled an injury but finished his freshman year with solid numbers and will likely see more playing time in 2025.
Wynott came to Wazzu from Winchester, Idaho. He starred for Lapwei High School, earning 2024 Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year honors. He led Lapwei High School to three-straight 1A state titles and was also named 2023-24 MaxPreps Player of the Year.
In his first year at WSU, Wynott played 24 games and averaged 13.4 minutes. He averaged 1.5 rebounds, 1.2 points and 0.6 assists. Wynott. The 6-foot-6 guard made 29.7% of his shots and was 0-for-8 from the free-throw line.
