Kyra Gardner is a junior out of Raymond, Washington, who has established herself as a weapon off the bench in the past two seasons.
In her freshman season, Gardner played sparingly, averaging 5.6 minutes, 1.7 points and 0.9 rebounds. She saw her role increase in her second season in the program. As a sophomore, the 5-foot-11 guard averaged 9.5 minutes, 3.3 points and 1.6 rebounds. She established herself as a capable three-point shooter, hitting 34.8% of her attempts from behind the arc.
In 2024-25, Gardner saw similar playing time. She averaged 9.4 minutes, 3.4 points and 1.4 rebounds.
Before coming to WSU, Gardner was named the Washington State Gatorade Player of the Year for the 2021-22 season, when she led Raymond High School to the 2B State Tournament and was also named tournament MVP.
