Marta Alsina is a freshman from Barcelona, Spain. The 5-foot-11 guard will play her second season with the Cougars in 2025. 

Alsina played for Segle XXI from 2022-2024, and played in the European Championships. In the 2023-24 season, Alsina averaged 7.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.4 steals. 

In 2024-25 with WSU, Alsina averaged 1.4 rebounds, 1.3 points, 0.7 assists and 0.6 steals. She will have an opportunity to compete for more playing time at guard in 2025-26.
