Ace Glass, who continues his impressive freshman season for the WSU Cougars, has been named West Coast Conference freshman of the week for the third time this year.
The award comes after Glass dropped 29 points during a loss at San Diego and 18 points in a win versus Pepperdine. It marks 11 straight games Glass has scored double-digit points, including in all nine of WSU’s WCC league games.
Glass currently leads the team in minutes-per-game (27.4), three-pointers (50), points (370) and points-per-game (16.8). He is also averaging 3.5 rebounds-per-game and has 17 steals. He has a .483 field goal percentage, a .385 three-point percentage and an .861 free-throw percentage.
In the WCC, Glass is second in points scored and fourth in points per game. His 40-point game against Arizona State is the most by any WCC player in an individual game this season.
