Kay Craig: “One bad apple does not make the bushel bad unless you leave it in. This bad apple was promptly removed. If there are other bad apples, remove them. I do not judge the political party on their bad apples. I do, however, judge them on the bills they pass or don’t. Just because someone belongs to the Republican club does not mean they need to be regulated. I do not agree with the party as a whole but I will fight to the end their right to their opinions. To me, a university club is meant for students to socialize, learn more and advocate for their beliefs.”

Johnny Cooke: “[Elson Floyd] would have done the same as the current president. He would never have allowed race baiting at his university and stood for all free speech even if it were hateful.”

Clara Oliver: “[James Allsup] was promoted to running that group, and it wasn’t until this whole thing came to light, after months of his “leadership.” And in the end, they didn’t remove him. He resigned under pressure from the head of the organization. And they have been known to intimidate others and have actively worked to make the school a more hostile place for many students.”
