Artisans at the Dahmen Barn in Uniontown are offering a culinary art class from 6 to 9 p.m. on March 1.

Award-winning WSU Executive Chef Jamie Callison will teach attendees how to make home-brined corned beef and other traditional food with a St. Patrick’s Day theme, according to a news release.

In 1999, Callison was voted Chef of the Year by the Washington State Chef’s Association and was awarded the Presidential Medallion by the American Culinary Foundation in 2002, according to the news release.

Now, he is on WSU’s campus to teach students how to cook at an award-winning level.

The class is $45, and students must be registered by Feb. 23 in order to participate. To register, visit their website or call them at (509) 229-3414.
