Children’s Supplies Drive supports students with children

From staff reports

Baby and infant item donations will support students-parents, said Erin McIlraith, the WSU Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) marketing and communication coordinator.

“What they do is provide support for those students who are also parents by providing different children’s supplies for ages zero to six,” McIlraith said. “There are a couple of students who are about to have babies, so they are especially looking for baby clothing, baby bottles and baby diapers.”

This drive is an easy way to help your fellow Cougs by using some extra cash to buy some baby items and donate it. People can also donate used clothing or baby items that are no longer needed, McIlraith said.

“Cougs helping Cougs and making sure that fellow Cougs are doing alright,” she said.

The Rosario’s Place Children’s Supplies Drive is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Friday. The donation bins are located in CUB Rooms 308, L45 and L48, and Wilson-Short Hall Room 8.
