Pullman Christian Childcare Center hosts Harvest Carnival

From staff reports

The Pullman Christian Childcare Center will be hosting their 10th annual Harvest Carnival on Monday, Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Harvest Carnival is a safe and fun way for local families to enjoy the Halloween evening, director Angela Echols said.

Game booths with games such as Whack-A-Mule, putt-putt golf and balloon toss will be set up around the Center’s gymnasium. When kids play the games, they have the chance to win candy prizes, Echols said.

But there’s one big prize giveaway, which visitors can win by taking part in the fundraiser.

The giveaway is a fundraiser put together by the center, as they are a non-profit organization. When attendees buy a coupon card for $20, they will be entered for a chance at the prize and the funds go directly to the center, she said.

The card has a handful of locations it can be used at and is good for one year.

The Harvest Carnival will also feature face painting, a bounce house and a special story bracelet station, Echols said.

At the Story Bracelet table, kids will learn the story of Jesus and build a bracelet as they go.

Each booth and the event is operated by the 75 to 100 volunteers. The center coordinates the entire event and receives booth sponsorships from local businesses to help pay for the carnival, she said.

The Harvest Festival will open at 6 p.m. tonight at the Pullman Christian Childcare Center. Admission is free and open to all ages.
