College of education dean: letter to graduates

I never tire of the rhythm of the academic year at WSU. The excitement at the start of fall semester and welcoming new students, the sometimes feeling of an endless semester where students and faculty are working hard, and the buildup toward commencement and the celebration of a job well done are all experiences and feelings that I have come to treasure.

Graduation is also a time of new possibilities as graduating students move out of WSU and into the workforce or other post-graduation activities. I want to thank our graduating students for all their hard work and perseverance that it took to reach graduation. You stayed the course. To think we at WSU had a hand in this makes this time particularly enjoyable.

I also want to wish our graduating students much success in their new pursuits and no matter where you go or what you do, know that you always have a place to visit and call home in Pullman.

Go Cougs!
