WSU running back arrested for DUI

From staff reports

WSU redshirt sophomore running back Jamal Morrow was arrested early Sunday for driving while intoxicated, and was booked for a DUI.

Pullman police officer Alex Gordon pulled Morrow over at 12:39 a.m. going the wrong way down a one-way street, according to police logs. Since the Cougar running back does not turn 21 until Jan. 24, a blood alcohol level of only 0.02 is needed for a DUI.

Morrow was arrested after a breathalyzer showed his blood alcohol content at .186, .191 and .187. The legal limit for an adult in Washington is 0.08. After his arrest Morrow was released by Pullman Police Department with his first appearance in Pullman District Court scheduled for Tuesday.

Morrow seemed to express remorse over the incident through his Twitter account Monday.

“Learn from your mistakes and use it as a tool to become a better person,” Morrow wrote.
