Welcome back Cougs! I hope everyone had a great week, and while this upcoming week seems to be more of a chill one in Pullman, there is still so much to do.

And don’t forget, WSU’s birthday is today!

Academic Showcase

  • What: Session featuring work from WSU research, art and other work from students and faculty members
  • When: 9 a.m.–12 p.m. March 28
  • Where: Compton Union Building

Crimson and Gray Day

  • What: Celebrate WSU’s birthday with free cake on all of the physical WSU campuses, including Pullman 
  • When: 11 a.m.–1 p.m. March 28
  • Where: Terrell Mall in front of Todd Hall steps 

Kids’ Science and Engineering Day 

  • What: 15th annual KSED for elementary-aged students to do activities and experience what STEM is and means at WSU
  • When: 10 a.m.–3 p.m. March 30 
  • Where: Sloan Hall
  • Cost: $5 per child

Fashion Show

  • What: The 41st annual family weekend fashion show, with a wine and beer garden
  • When: 5–9 p.m. April 5
  • Where: Beasley Coliseum
  • Cost: $25 pre-order, $35 at the door, $60 for VIP

Family Weekend Festivities

  • What: Kick off family weekend by browsing the visitor center, with staff members there to help with getting around town
  • When: 8 a.m.–6 p.m. April 5, 6 and 7
  • Where: Brelsford Visitor Center

Crimson Reads Exhibit

  • What: Annual celebration of authors at WSU
  • When: March 18–April 1
  • Where: Holland and Terrell Library Atrium

Knit and Crochet Class

  • What: Beginners knitting and crochet classes
  • When: 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month until April 20
  • Where: Yard Underground in Moscow
  • Cost: $79 for four knitting classes; $69 for four crochet classes; materials included

Movement in the Park

  • What: Accessible movement classes for all ages
  • When: 11 a.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday through May 17
  • Where: 1912 Center in Moscow
