Indoor dining is now open at 25 percent capacity as Whitman County moves into Phase 2 of the Healthy Washington reopening plan.

As of yesterday, the entire state is in Phase 2 of the reopening plan, according to a news release from the Washington State Department of Health.

Social and at-home gatherings can take place with five people from outside immediate households. Worship services, retail stores and personal services remain operating at 25 percent capacity, according to the Washington state Roadmap to Recovery plan.

Indoor entertainment establishments, like theaters, concert halls, museums and bowling alleys can operate at 25 percent capacity or 200 people, whichever is less. Gyms and indoor recreational sports can now operate at 25 percent capacity as well, according to the Roadmap to Recovery.

In order to progress to Phase 2, regions needed to meet three out of four requirements, according to the Washington State Coronavirus Response website

The requirements include the trend in case rate, the trend in hospital admissions rate, percent ICU occupancy and percent positivity, according to the coronavirus response website.

Metrics and phase movement are updated every two weeks by the state. Possible phase movement may take place March 1, according to the coronavirus response website.
