Several community events over the weekend were cancelled or postponed due to the unhealthy air quality in Pullman.

Joanne Green, Director of Programming at the Student Recreation Center said UREC’s Color Me Coug 5k run has been postponed until next weekend.

Greene said that the recreation center will be taking things day by day, continuing to monitor the quality of air to protect students’ health.

Tour de Lentil, a bike race organized by the city of Pullman, was also cancelled. Additionally, Washington State University’s women’s soccer game was rescheduled from Sunday the 23rd to 7 p.m. today.
