Whitman County confirms 54 new COVID-19 cases
County has running total of 3,450 cases; WSU Pullman has 49 active COVID-19 cases

From March 2-5, 54 individuals tested positive for COVID-19, raising Whitman County’s running total to 3,450.
There have been a total of 45 COVID-related deaths as of March 5. A total of 91 people have been hospitalized in the county, according to Friday’s press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center.
Of the new cases, sixteen females and 10 males are aged 1-19 years. Fifteen females and nine males are aged 20-39 years. One female and one male are aged 40-59 years. One female is aged 60-79 years. One female is over the age of 80, according to press releases.
WSU Pullman has a running total of 2,193 positive COVID-19 cases and 49 active cases as of March 4, according to the WSU COVID-19 Dashboard.
