Pullman Police Department received a theft report from the FarmHouse Fraternity May 25.

Pullman PD Cmdr. Jake Opgenorth said a fraternity member told an officer an unknown suspect damaged property at the fraternity May 24. The fraternity forwarded security footage from that night to the police.

The suspect climbed to a balcony using a fire escape ladder and damaged multiple chairs, he said. The suspect then climbed back down and ended up taking a pellet grill and rolled it away.

“That was all caught on the security camera,” he said. “We have released [the footage] on social media asking for the public’s help in identifying that suspect.”

The suspect is still at large, but Pullman PD received some tips, giving them some direction. Police will follow up on the tips as they receive more information, he said.

“The public’s been great about helping us out, and I suspect that we will have that suspect identified soon,” he said.
