As of Wednesday, Whitman County reported seven new COVID-19 cases, bringing the running total to 5,978. 

There have been a total of 81 COVID-19-related deaths and 222 hospitalizations, according to the Whitman County Public Health website. 

Out of the 93.4 percent of WSU Pullman students compliant with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate, 96.27 percent are fully vaccinated as of Wednesday, according to the WSU COVID-19 Recovery Guidance.
