Start – Marques Colston, WR, Saints

New Orleans’ “Mr. Reliable” of the past seven years has been off to a disappointing start in 2013, catching only three passes for 26 yards in his past two contests.  Coming off a bye, the Saints take on a Buffalo defense allowing the second most fantasy points to opposing wide-outs. With Jimmy Graham nursing a foot injury, look for Colston to have a productive day and hopefully get back to his consistent ways. 

Sit – Darren McFadden, RB, Raiders

McFadden has been a middle-of-the-road fantasy back thus far, due in large part to his supporting cast.  This week, Pittsburgh travels to Oakland for an old-time AFC matchup, and although the Steelers defense has been a shadow of its former self this year, they are coming off back-to-back games of giving up no more than 75 yards rushing to opposing backs. With Oakland’s offensive line woes, look for Pittsburgh to shut McFadden down.

Start – Eli Manning, QB, Giants

Manning is putting up career numbers this season and is coming off a victory. However, the career numbers are for interceptions, and that victory came against a Vikings team that started a quarterback that has only been on their roster for two weeks.  Nonetheless, Manning managed to not throw a pick in the game, and this week takes on a Philadelphia defense that has been ravaged through the air this season.  Manning could be in for a multi-touchdown day, which isn’t a bad play if you’re in a bye week pinch.

Sit – Jordan Cameron, TE, Browns

Cameron put up another solid performance last week and continues to be one of the most consistent tight ends this season. This week, Cleveland heads to undefeated Kansas City to take on a defense yet to allow a touchdown or more than 43 yards receiving to an opposing tight end this season.  Don’t bet on much production here.

Start – Jarrett Boykin, WR, Packers

Boykin is coming off his first career 100-yard receiving performance, and this week he takes on a struggling Minnesota Vikings team.  The Vikings have been generous to opposing wide receivers this season, and with Randall Cobb and Jermichael Finley out and James Jones highly questionable, Boykin will remain one of Aaron Rodgers’ top targets this week.
