Whitman County Auditor Sandy Jamison announced last week she is looking to hold her position for a second term.

Jamison said she wants to see the office continue to grow, according to a press release.

When Jamison first took office, she set three goals for herself: only receiving positive comments toward audits, maintaining positive interactions between the Auditor’s Office and the community and setting a good example for the younger generation of people working for the county, according to the press release.

Jamison believes she has accomplished these goals but is still working toward certain aspects of them, according to the press release.

She feels she has gained the experience to continue to help the county and to be a better public assistant in the next four years, according to the press release.
