Swing Devils of the Palouse, a local community swing dance group, will host a Newbie Night at 8 p.m. Aug. 31 at the Moose Lodge in Moscow, according to their Facebook page. The Swing Devils host a dance every Thursday, as well as a lesson for $5. Recently, the Swing Devils have started dancing on the second Friday of every month at the Daily Grind in Pullman, at no charge, to be more accessible to WSU students. The next swing dance in Pullman will be at 8 p.m. Sept. 8. Newcomers are encouraged, and no experience or partner is necessary, according to their page.
