Pumpkins and squash headline CAHNRS u-pick pumpkin events

There will be several types of pumpkins available for purchase coming in all shapes and sizes

WSU Eggert Family Organic Farm will hold u-pick pumpkin events from 3-6 p.m. on Sept. 30 and 10-4 p.m. on Oct. 1.

There will be several types of pumpkins available for purchase coming in all shapes and sizes, according to the College of Agricultural, Human and Natural Resource Sciences website.

Prices for pies, minis and jack-o-lanterns will range from $2.50-18, and specialty pumpkins going from $8-20, according to the Facebook page.

In addition to the pumpkins, fall crops will also be available including onions, shallots, potatoes, carrots and winter squash, according to the CAHNRS website.

The next u-pick pumpkin event will be hosted at the same times respectively the following weekend on Oct. 7-8, according to the website.
