The Whitman County Humane Society and Sanctuary Yoga, a local yoga studio, are collaborating for a “Cats to the Mat” event from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. The cats will be joining a 90-minute yoga class and are all adoptable.

Sanctuary will also be collecting donations for WCHS, as the class is donation only. Donations can be either in monetary form or from the WCHS needed supplies list, according to their Facebook page.

Supplies needed include dry dog, puppy, kitten and cat foods, along with non-clumping kitty litter, scrubbing sponges, liquid hand soap, liquid hand sanitizer, bleach, paper towels and dog toys. The full list can be found on the WCHS website or on their Facebook page.
