Pullman experienced an unusually hot day Sunday with a high of 80 degrees.
According to the MSN Weather website, the start of October has already experienced three days of 70 degrees as well as one 80-degree day which is unusually hot for the month of October. The usual average high in October is around 60 degrees with an average low of 44 degrees.
Pullman is primarily known for its cold and wet winters as well as its hot summers. According to the Weather Spark website, the hot season in Pullman lasts from June 24 to Sept. 12. The average daily high temperature of those months is 76 degrees with the hottest month of the year in Pullman being August with an average high of 84 degrees, according to Weather Spark.
According to a previous article from the Daily Evergreen, Washington has already experienced an unusually hot summer this year with temperatures 4–5 degrees above average, including Eastern Washington.
