Dear Life Section,
I am staying in Pullman for the Apple Cup, but still want to celebrate and have a watch party. Where do I go and what do I do?
Sincerely,
Football Fanatic
Dear Football Fanatic,
There is plenty to do in Pullman even if you are not going to the West Side for Apple Cup. There will be plenty of watch parties around Pullman and ways to watch yourself.
Valhalla Bar and Grill, The Emporium, My Office Bar and Grill, The Land, Zoe Coffee and Kitchen and Sella’s Calzone and Pizza are all great places to watch the game. However, the most popular location to watch the Apple Cup is The Coug, which is open to ages under 21 until 8 p.m.
You can go and get a Coug Burger or Seattle Dog, a non-alcoholic beer or trashcan and watch the game with everyone there.
For those who live near downtown and not campus or Greek Row, the perfect place to go is My Office. My Office will also be streaming the game and have the same menu and drink options as Vallhalla, as the same people own the establishments.
If you live out in Apartment Land, The Land is a great place to get lunch and watch the game.
This option is only available to people who are 21 and above. However, if you are 21, you can get wings, a Pullman Water and play darts as you watch the game.
If you are looking to just chill out and get lunch while watching the game, Zoe’s and Sellas near the south side of campus are great places to watch the game as well.
For those who do not want to leave the comfort of their own home, you can watch the game on Peacock.
The ultimate goal of an at-home watch party is the clothes and the snacks. Treat Apple Cup like any other Super Bowl watch party and get the pizza, chips, dip, and mac and cheese (made with Cougar Gold cheese, of course).
Get your Cougar gear and cheer on the team. It does not matter where you are; Cougar Pride is felt everywhere.
