A house fire started on the block of NE Opal Street Wednesday afternoon.
Anisa Woods, a resident who lives nearby, said she asked officers what happened and was told it was an electrical fire. The fire spread to the attic which caused it to go up in flames.
The neighborhood was so smokey she could not see the house that was in front of her, Woods said.
Woods said she noticed the fire when she was alerted there was motion at her door from her Ring camera. Instead of a person, it was smoke.
“I thought my house was on fire,” she said.
