Bryan Kohberger’s trial has been rescheduled to start on Aug. 11, 2025.
Jury selection will begin on July 30, 2025, according to court documents. This decision pushes the beginning of the trial over two months past the previously planned date of June 2.
“The jury trial shall … run through November 7, 2025, inclusive of the penalty phase,” court documents said. “Trial will begin each day at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at approximately 3:30 p.m.”
Jury questionnaires will be filed under seal by March 24, 2025. A final pretrial conference will be held on May 15 and will continue on May 16 if necessary, according to court documents.
Kohberger is next scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 7 as part of the defense’s effort to eliminate the death penalty as a possible sentence, according to the Idaho Statesman.
