The WSU baseball team has announced its spring schedule for the 2025 season. They begin the season in February with a four-game series at Arkansas. The Cougs will hope to get revenge against a Razorbacks team they are 1-6 all-time against
Wazzu will then compete in the Kleberg Bank Collegiate Classic That tournament will include games against Michigan State, UCLA, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi.
The squad then heads to Cleburne, Texas where they are set to square off with Iowa for four games.
WSU’s home opener comes on Mar 7, when they host their first of a three-game series with Seattle University. That is followed by a two-game set with Pac-12 rival Oregon State before the Cougars begin Mountain West play.
The Cougs travel to Colorado in mid-March to take on Air Force for three games. They come home for three against San Diego State and a one-game non-conference matchup with Gonzaga.
Back on the road, the Cougs will visit Nevada at the end of March, followed by their one-game road match at Gonzaga on April Fools Day. They come home for a weekend series against San Jose State, and a Monday hosting the University of San Francisco. Then it’s right back to the road to play the New Mexico Lobos in Albuquerque, NM.
Wazzu returns to Pullman for another weekend series, against Nevada before a four-game road trip that will see them visit UC Davis for one and Fresno State for three.
They play Gonzaga for a third time at home, then host Air Force for three. A short trip to Seattle for one game precedes their final home series against UNLV. Then it’s back to Spokane for one last game against Gonzaga.
The Cougar’s final series of the season will be a three-game set at San Diego State.
On May 21st, the Mountain West Baseball Championships begin. Unlike in Football, where the Cougs have a scheduling agreement, in baseball, WSU will compete in the MW Championship, because they are an affiliate member.
The NCAA Tournament begins on May 30 if the Cougars are able to earn a spot.
