After walking off WSU in the tenth inning of game one, the Razorbacks walked off game two with a three–run homerun by sophomore infielder Kuhio Aloy, causing the mercy rule to end the game in the seventh inning with a final score of 14–2.
Arkansas started game two strong with the junior lefthanded pitcher Zach Root going five innings with only one earned run, eight strikeouts and only allowing two hits. On the other side of the diamond, freshman lefthanded pitcher Nick Lewis for the Cougs found himself getting hit early and often, giving up six hits, five runs and two walks.

Junior pitcher Ingmar Huetzezon, the new addition to the Cougar bullpen, attempted to slow the bleeding but ended up allowing four runs to score off of two hits and four walks. Finally, freshman pitcher Miles Chandler for the Cougars followed the example and gave up another five runs off two walks and five hits, one of which being the Aloy three–run homer to close out the game with a flourish.

Junior infielder Brent Iredale quickly followed suit driving in a run off a ground out to second base. WSU was able to get on the board thanks to RBI’s from freshman infielder Ollie Obenour in the fourth inning and junior catcher Griffin Myers in the sixth.

The fourth inning saw an explosion of run production for the Razorbacks as sophomore outfielder Charles Davalan drove in one, sophomore catcher Ryder Helfrick drove in three and Iredale drove in two. Iredale scraped another run across by drawing a walk in the fifth inning and Davalan picked up another two runs in the sixth. The game was ended via mercy rule after Aloy hit a towering home run into left field, solidifying the win at 14–2.
