Chocolate becomes flavor of Pullman in Decadence event
April 10, 2014
The Pullman Chamber of Commerce will give free chocolate to all passers-by today as it hosts Pullman’s Chocolate Decadence – Spring Edition.
From 4 to 7 p.m., free chocolate treats will be offered by businesses to visitors who stop by. New spring merchandise and food samples such as cupcakes, fondue and pastries will be featured.
Pullman’s Chocolate Decadence will feature promotions and displays throughout the city designed by WSU visual merchandising and promotion students.
The apparel, merchandising, design and textiles (AMDT) department has involved 16 merchants. These merchants include At Home Designs: Framing it Up!, Atom Heart Music, Barnes & Noble Bookie, B & L Bicycles, Crimson and Gray, Design Effects, Dissmore’s IGA, GLASSPhemy, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Gift Shop, Lily Bee’s Consignment Shop, Neill’s Flowers and Gifts, Sam Dial Jewelers, Safeway, Shopko, The Bookie Too, and Wild Ivy.
Each of these merchants will have voting ballots for best display. Community members and Mom’s Weekend visitors are encouraged to shop locally and support AMDT department students.
