Missing your company

There were few moments in my life when I did not appreciate you.

To say you have had the biggest influence on my life would be an understatement, and I am pretty sure you are the reason I have any manners.

During my years in college, I have come to realize how much I miss your company.

No, I don’t miss Sultan (sorry mom, I had to say it). But I do miss being around the most selfless and positive person I have ever known.

This one is for you, mom.

Thanks for all the days where you cleaned way too many of my dishes.

Thanks for putting up with my DJ-ing of God-knows-what at inhumane volume levels.

Thanks for throwing me a surprise birthday in my English class that one time. I don’t know if I ever told you how much that made my day.

Lastly, thanks for supporting me in all of my endeavors. You have always given me the confidence to pursue my passions.

Basically, you are the equivalent of everything good in this world.

With love, Luke
