Student Financial Services (SFS) is accepting applications until 8 a.m. Monday for a scholarship contest honoring WSU’s 127th birthday with the #CougsGive 2017 campaign, according to a news release.

Four $500 scholarships will be awarded, according to the news release. Students can submit a 500-word essay in response to questions about attending WSU, their long-term goals and how the scholarship could help them be successful at WSU.

On Wednesday, the essays and photos will be shared on the SFS Facebook page for 127 hours. The four posts with the most likes or reactions during that time will be awarded the scholarships. Likes or reactions to shares of the posts will not be counted.
