The U.S. National Weather Service in Spokane issued a flood advisory warning for Whitman and Latah counties until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pullman, Colfax, Albion, Colton and Uniontown could experience flooding, according to the advisory.

Most flood deaths occur in vehicles, according to the advisory. To reduce the risk of injury, keep away from moving water and do not drive down flooded roads.
