The CUB was evacuated at about 5 p.m. after the dishwasher at Starbucks was moved under a smoke detector, which set off the fire alarm, said Pullman Fire Captain James Turpin.

A crowd of approximately 50 people waited outside while firefighters dealt with the situation. The building was reopened at about 5:30 p.m.
