Pullman transit to reduce bus services
February 13, 2020
Pullman Transit will be offering reduced hours and running on community service for most bus routes this upcoming Monday because of Presidents Day.
“On Saturday and Sunday, it will be a normal weekend,” Tony Tompos, Pullman Transit dispatcher, said. “On Monday, we will be running our reduced hours, which is our usual for the summer, winter and other school breaks.”
The bus routes which will be running include Loop, Paradise, Silver and Blue from 6:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Community express will also be running during this time.

Why the heck did an editor approve this title?

Because all university offices remain open on President’s Day, we offer our five-route Community Service rather than typical two-route Holiday Service. While we appreciate the notice going out to your readers, the catchy headline “Pullman transit to reduce bus services” suggests a negative tone to this service change.

Y’all… might want to do some more work on this story. The web editor put in the story wrong so it shows up weird on the web. ALSO, the title is pretty misleading. Like, I’m coming into the story thinking they’re removing buses on a normal basis but it turns out they’re just working around the upcoming holiday. Just say that then, don’t make it all clickbaity.
Sincerely,
A former Evergreener.
