A record was broken in Pullman for the amount of rainfall to hit the area in one day by 0.27 inches, according to a Facebook post by the U.S. National Weather Service Spokane Washington. 

The previous record was 0.98 inches in 1912, according to the post. The record rainfall is now 1.25 inches.

The amount of rainfall was measured at the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport for over 24 hours, according to the post, and was reported around 1 a.m. Thursday. 

Rainfall record breaks were also seen at the Spokane International Airport and the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport, according to the post. 

Spokane received 1.4 inches of rain, which breaks the previous record of 1.19 inches in 1912, according to the post. Lewiston experienced 0.96 inches, which breaks the previous record of 0.92 inches in 1912.
