Whitman County receives six positive COVID-19 cases
New patients are stable, isolating at home

Six new people have tested positive for COVID-19 as of Sunday, bringing the total to 26 positive cases in Whitman County.
All six patients are stable and isolating at home, according to a news release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center.
The county’s COVID-19 risk has moved from green to yellow, according to the Whitman County Public Health website.
Green means the virus was not spread in the community within the last 72 hours and there is no more than one non-community acquired case, according to the website. Yellow means there are no congregate outbreaks and the community spread is no more than one case per day. Yellow also means there is more than one non-community positive case.
There are 1,207 negative cases in the county, according to the website.
Residents are reminded to maintain social distancing, according to the release.
