WSU women’s golf returns to Arizona for PING/ASU Invitational

From staff reports

Arizona is a popular place this time of year for two things: its sunshine and golf.

The WSU women’s golf team will travel to Tempe, Arizona this weekend to participate in the PING/ASU Invitational.

This will be the Cougars’ third consecutive trip to the southwestern state, having competed at the Cowgirl Classic in Maricopa, Arizona on April 4-5.

The invitation will hold one 18-hole round over each of the three days at the ASU Karsten Golf Club.

Several ranked teams will be joining WSU on the fairway, including No.1 Alabama, No.3 UCLA, and No.13 Washington. Colorado, Oregon State, Hawaii and several others will also be present at the invitational.

Tee time is set for 8 a.m. on Friday and Saturday and 7:30 a.m. for the final round on Sunday.

To keep up with the Cougar women’s golf team, live scores will be provided on golfstat.com.
