The CUB’s Panda Express reopened Monday and will be operating weekdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Orders can be placed online, through DoorDash and in-person. 

Oscar Zamora, area coach of operations for Panda Express, said Panda Express will follow safety guidelines from the CUB and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. This includes having employees wear masks, use gloves, wash their hands and use hand sanitizer. 

Employees will sanitize everything every half an hour, Zamora said. Plexiglass will be used to separate employees from customers. There will also be markers to indicate a 6-feet distance between customers in line. Customers are encouraged to use credit cards, but cash will still be accepted. 

Monday was a slow reopening day for Panda Express, Zamora said. If the business does not make a profit, they will have to close again, he said.
