Whitman County confirms 15 new COVID-19 cases
62 percent of total COVID-19 cases occurred in people between 20, 39 years

Fifteen individuals tested positive for COVID-19, raising Whitman County’s total to 1,427 cases.
Of the new cases, three people are aged 20-39 years, according to a press release from the Whitman County Operations Center. Two are female, and one is male. One female is aged 40-59 years. Four females and two males are aged 60-79 years. Four females and one male are over 80 years old.
Three people are in the hospital. One person has died. All other patients are stable and self-isolating.
Of the total number of cases, 31 percent occurred in people aged 0-19 years, and 62 percent have been from people aged 20-39 years. Four percent of the cases occurred in people aged 40-59 years. Three percent of cases have been from in people aged 60-79 years. One percent of cases has occurred in people over 80 years.
Residents are reminded to practice social distancing and wear masks.
