Whitman County confirms 27 new COVID-19 cases
Six people over 80 tested positive

Twenty-seven individuals tested positive for COVID-19, raising the county’s total to 1,484 because one previous case was counted in the Whitman County total, but it has been transferred to another county’s total case count.
Of the new patients, three females and three males are aged 0-19 years, according to a press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center. Six females and four males are aged 20-39 years. Five females are aged 60-79 years. Five females and one male are older than 80.
Three people are in the hospital. All other patients are stable and self-isolating. One person in the county has died.
Residents are reminded to wear masks and practice social distancing.
