Whitman County confirms 26 positive COVID-19 cases
County running total is now 2,285 cases; six patients currently hospitalized

Twenty-six individuals tested positive for COVID-19 since Wednesday, bringing Whitman County’s running total to 2,285 cases.
Of the new patients, three females and four males are aged 1-19 years, according to a Wednesday press release from the Whitman County Emergency Operations Center. Four females and five males are aged 20-39 years. Four females and four males are aged 40-59 years. Two males are aged 60-79 years.
Six patients are currently hospitalized, according to the release. All other patients are stable and isolating. There have been 22 COVID-19 related deaths in the county.
Residents are reminded to wear masks, practice social distancing and avoid large gatherings.
